Through is a to-do app made by Divyanshu (“we”). This page explains, in plain words, what we keep about you, why, and how to get it removed. The short version: we keep only what the app needs to work, we don’t show ads, and we never sell your data.

What we keep

Your accountYour name, email address and profile picture from Google (if you sign in with Google), or the email you sign up with.
What you put in ThroughYour tabs, tasks, reminders, goals, notes, Someday list, settings, coins, badges and buddy items. This is synced so it appears on all your devices.
For notificationsA notification token for each device where you turn notifications on, your time zone, and the titles and times of your upcoming alerts for the next week, so they can reach you when the app is closed.
Error reportsIf the app crashes, a short technical message, where in the code it happened, the app version and your browser type. Never your tasks or personal content.

What we don’t do

Voice

When you use the microphone, speech is turned into text by your device or browser’s own speech service (for example Apple’s or Google’s), under their privacy terms. Through only receives the resulting text.

Services that help run Through

Some of these providers may process data in countries other than yours. They are bound by their own security and privacy commitments.

How long we keep it

Your data stays for as long as you have an account. Upcoming alerts are removed once they’re sent. Error reports are deleted after 30 days.

Your choices and rights

Children

Through isn’t meant for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we’ll update the date above and tell you in the app.
